IQAC REPORT

INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL 

In pursuance of its action plan for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation and quality upgradation of Higher Educational Institutions, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), proposes an institution to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality sustenance measure. As quality enhancement and improvement are continuous processes, the IQAC will become an integral part of SCSA’s quality framework to realize the goal of sustained quality assurance.

OBJECTIVES

The IQAC was established on 16.09.2020 with the following objectives:

  1. To heighten the level of clarity and focus with which the institution functions towards achieving quality improvement and sustenance
  2. To enhance and integrate the various activities of the institution with streamlined best practices
  3. To ensure better internal communication
  4. To be the change agent to formalize the institution’s quality culture

FUNCTIONS

  1. Development, implementation and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
  2. Create a learner-centric environment conducive for an efficient and effective Teaching Learning Process
  3. Conduct regular feedback sessions and collect responses from parents, students and other stakeholders on quality related institutional processes and act on the same
  4. Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education
  5. Organization of national and international conferences, workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
  6. Development and maintenance of an exhaustive database about the institution that aids in quality sustenance
  7. Build an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication
  8. Documentation of the various programmes and activities leading to quality improvement
  9. Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality-related activities including adoption and implementation of best practices
  10. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC based on the quality parameters
